Hi Guys.
Seems like the person who started this didn't feel like finishing it.
Since it's still technically winter in AC and they haven't done HD snow-trees, I whipped this up today:

Just put into the load folder and enjoy!

If you guys are still interested so am i, I've got a lot of dumped textures and a lot of vectored images to(that I just ran through a program). If there's enough people interested we could make a new thread.

I'm still interested, in fact I'm upscaling all of the textures in this game. But I liked the way that this person did it through vectors and I tried to learn how to do that but I couldn't gain a fundamental understanding of how to actually do it. what program are you using to do it? I'd like to help out with these textures too if you'd like. I know there's over 6k textures in animal crossing for the gamecube (That's another game I'm working on at the moment).

I was using Vector Magic but you have to pay (free trail but you cant save the image) and it kept crashing on me, I was thinking of just redesigning them by hand in inkspace.

I have inkspace too. I just don't feel like spending that much time doing them one by one. I did find a automatic tracing program that I'm working on fixing it up to use. Currently the way I've been doing texture packs has been running each texture through a 6xBRZ upscaling filter and they've turned out really well, still compared to vectors nothing beats that.

Hi could you reupload this? It's not on Dropbox anymore. Thanks!

Hey, any chance this is still a thing? The pack he made works great...but it's only so much. Tried messaging this guy on Reddit directly but he hasn't responded...any idea how to get in touch? I bet he has more of this pack done just hasn't gotten around to posting it.

Honestly I think he's done. I'd love to see City Folk with cleaner textures however the silence makes me believe this is a dead project. Oh well, I've got stardew valley so I'm pretty happy.

I honestly just haven't had much time to work on it. It's still something I want to finish.
Could everyone with dumped textures upload them to a file hosting site like Mega or something? The more dumps I have, the better, with a game as diverse as this.
I'll update it tonight or tomorrow with some newer versions of the winter stuff.
Despite the emerging relevance of Waifu2x, however, because of how small the original textures in this game are, my original method is still better for recreating them.
