Red White and Blue Slime
This beautiful red, white, and blue activity is the perfectfourth of July activityfor toddlers, preschoolers, kindergartners, grade 1, and grade 2 students. To make thisamerican slime you will mix glue, sta flo, water, food coloring, and glitter if you like. Then drizzle the colors together for an EPICpatriotic activity for kids! Whether you are a parent, teacher, homeschooler, or counselor at a summer camp – this4th of July activity is sure to be a hit for an afternoon of play!
American Slime
To whip up a batch of thiseasy slime recipe for kids all you need are a few simple materials you may already have on hand:
- 1/2 cup white glue
- 1/4 ish cup of Sta Flo Liquid Starch
- 1/2 cup water
- food coloring – red, blue
- glitter – red and blue
Patriotic Slime
For this amazing slime for 4th of July, you will need to make 3 batches – one red, one blue, and one without any added color to make white. Mix together the glue, sta flo, and water; add food coloring and chunky glitter if adding to this batch. Once it is starting to thicken, it is time to dig in with your hands to knead the mixture.

If it is too sticky add a little more staflo to the mixture. Set aside and repeat with another color. You need a batch or red, white, and blue for this funindependence day activity.

Roll each of the slimes into a long rope and put the ropes next to each other. Now stretch, drizzle, and allow it to flow to make a beautiful patirotic flage in red, white and blue!
